Architect Michael Jantzen likes to think of structures with a twist and in this case a lot of twisting turbines. The Wind Tunnel Foot Bridge, a design proposal for a new kind of wind activated footbridge made of steel and aluminum. As the wind blows, the five turbine wheels turn at different speeds around the people who are walking through the structure. Three of the five wheels turn in one direction, while the other two turn in the opposite direction. The wheels also produce and store energy much like a windmill.

معمار مشیل جانتزن فکر در مورد ساختارهای گردان و در این مورد بسیاری از توربین های گردان را دوست دارد Wind Tunnel Foot Bridge یک طرح برای نوع جدیدی از پل پیادرو بادی فعال شده است که از فولاد و آلومینیم ساخته شده است. موقعی که باد می ورزد، 5 چرخ توربین با سرعت های مختلف اهداف مردمی ساختمان راه می روند می چرخد . 3 تا از 5 چرخ در یک جهت می چرخند در حالی که 2 تای دیگر در جهت مخالف می چرخند . چرخ ها همچنین بیش تر شبیه یک آسیاب بادی انرژی را تولید و ذخیره می کنند

In 1971, Michael Jantzen was awarded a BS degree with a major in fine arts from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Illinois. In 1973, he received an MFA degree with a major in Multi-media from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

While in school, Jantzen’s work began to gain notoriety through gallery shows, which generated articles in various national magazines and newspapers. During this time he became increasingly interested in architecture and began to explore different approaches to design. This led him through the construction of several small experimental hand-built houses and other structures.

Jantzen’s work continued to gain national attention as he began to explore the possibilities of utilizing alternative energy systems in architecture.
In 1998 he developed several digital media projects that were published widely around the world. He created a conceptual house called the Malibu Video Beach House and, Elements, an interactive digital media theme park for the next millennium.

در سال 1971، مشیل جانتزی درجۀ Bs بزرگ را در هنرهای زیبا از دانشگاه ایلینوس جنوبی در ایلسون ادوارد سویل اخذ کرد. در سال 1973، او درجۀ MFA را در زمینه مولتی مدیا (چند رسانه) از دانشگاه واشنگتن در میسوری در St.Louis  اخذ کرد . کارهای جانتزی در دوران مدرسه در میان نمایشگاها شهرت کسب کرد، که باعث مقالاتی در مجلات و روزنامه های ملی مختلف شد. در طول این مدت او به طور افزایشی یابنده ای به معماری علاقمند شد و شروع به جستجوی رویکردی مختلف در طراحی کرد. این منجربه ساخت چندین خانۀ دست ساز کوچک آزمایشی و ساختمانهای دیگر توسط او شد.

کا جانتزن توجه ملی را به خود بیشتر جلب کرد موقعی که شروع به جستجو برای امکان استفاده از سیستم انرژی فرعی در معماری نمود. در سال 1998 او چندین پروژۀ رسانه ای دیژیتال را تمام کرد که به طور گسترده در جهان منتشر شد. او یک خانۀ فکری به نام Elements , Malibu Video Beach House و یک پارک تفریحی موضوعی با رسانۀ دیژیتال موثر هم برای هزارۀ بعد ساخت.

Early in 1999, he began to design and build the M-House project, a modular, relocatable, environmentally responsive, alternative housing system.

In 2001, Jantzen founded the Human Shelter Research Institute, a non profit organization dedicated to the development of alternative human shelter systems.
Jantzen is continually creating projects that enable him to explore his personal interests in avant-garde art, architecture and design.

در اوایل 1999 شروع به طراحی و ساخت پروژۀ M-House کرد که یک سیستم خانه سازی مدولار، قابل انتقال ، حساس به محیط اطراف و فرعی بود.

در سال 2001، جانتزن موسسۀ تحقیقاتی Human Shelter بنیان گذاری کرد که یک سازمان غیر انتفاعی اختصاصی برای یاخت سیستم های خانه سازی فرعی بود.

جانتزن به طور مدوام در حال ساخت پروژه هایی بود که او را برای جستجوی علاقات شخصی اش در زمینۀ هنر، معماری و طراحی پیشگام توانا می ساخت.
